You Are Invited To The Black Paris Tours July 14th Bastille Day Champagne Fireworks Cruise
I’ve always loved fireworks, champagne and riverboat cruises so what could be better than combining the three to celebrate the most important holiday in France?
July 14th Bastille Day, the date that marked the start of the 1789 revolution when French peasants overthrew the monarchy.
Black Paris Tours began offering July 14th Bastille Day Champagne/Fireworks Cruises in 1999 when it became impossible to deal with the hordes of people crowded along the banks of the Seine to view the fireworks. Over the years the cruises have gotten more expensive and challenging to organize. What’s remained the same is the feeling of relief when we are relaxed on the boat, docked at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, enjoying a sip of champagne and a bite to eat, while a million people line the river banks, jockeying for a place to sit or stand.
Plans for this year’s July 14th Fireworks Cruise will require your cooperation, timeliness and attention to detail….but we promise it will be an evening to remember for all the right reasons!
Cost: 70 euros
The 70 euro party package includes:
- a meet-up orientation at the hotel closest to our boat,
- a stop for photos at the Eiffel Tower,
- a basket lunch of champagne, sandwiches, fruit, cookies
- a 5 hour cruise on the River Seine
- and the day’s finale...
